We list out the colour options available on the facelifted Honda City 2023.
Honda has given a midlife facelift for the fifth-gen City. The updated City is priced from Rs. 11.49 lakh and goes up to Rs. 20.39 lakh ( ex-showroom). It continues with petrol and strong hybrid powertrains, while ditching the diesel variants. The update also comes with the addition of ADAS safety features.
The City facelift gets minor cosmetic revisions along with a new paint shade. City now offers a total of 6 colours to choose from, including the new shade : Obsidian Blue Pearl.
Other Honda City colours are Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic and Lunar Silver Metallic.
The latest one to join the City’s colour palette is the Obsidian Blue Pearl. The name Obsidian refers to a hard, dark, glasslike volcanic rock. As the name suggests, the new colour is a deeper shade of Blue. This colour complements the exterior design of the City. The dark matte black grille goes well with this shade, giving it a sportier look than any other colour option.
All the five other colours are retained from pre-facelift City. While the Platinum White Pearl gives the car a classy outlook, the Meteoroid Grey Metallic is on the sportier side. The bright Radiant Red Metallic asks for attention on the roads. Both the Golden Brown Metallic and the Lunar Silver Metallic look subtle.
Which colour is best for the new Honda City?
Our opinion on the best possible colourway for the new City would be the new Obsidian Blue Pearl. It has the depth, character and class. It’s sporty and subtle at the same time and goes well with the design cues of the car.
