The new LX is powered by a 3.3L V6 diesel

Lexus Cars has showcased and announced the pricing of the New LX 500d at the ongoing 2023 Auto Expo. The luxury SUV is coming to India in the 500d guise, with only a limited number of build slots allocated for India. The initial batch has already sold out. The LX, which is currently in its fourth generation, is a more opulent sibling of the Toyota Land Cruiser J300, which also made its India debut at the Auto Expo.

The LX gets the signature spindle grille, a new bonnet with a noticeable dip running down the centre-almost like a double-bubble roof, sleek headlamps, pronounced squared-off wheel arches, connected taillight bar and a muscular rear bumper.

On the inside, the new LX gets a 12.3-inch freestanding central infotainment touchscreen, an additional 7.0-inch screen below it, electrically adjustable front row seats, heated and ventilation function for the seats on both rows, 4-zone climate control, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 25 speaker Mark Levinson 3D surround sound system, 11.6in rear seat entertainment, etc.

Pop open the bonnet to behold the 3.3L Twin Turbo V6 Diesel engine that produces 304 HP and 700Nm of Torque. It’s paired with a 10-speed automatic gearbox that distributes power to all four wheels. 2023 Lexus LX 500d price starts at ₹2.82 Crores (Ex-Showroom, India).
