The carmaker’s Ranjangaon manufacturing facility grew lucky enough to have the record-bearing car built!
The recent launches have all been successful for Tata Motors, starting right from the Tiago and going all the way up to the Nexon. Nexon, the compact SUV that was launched almost an year ago, might be called the blockbuster of the lot, as its snappy aesthetics and imposing equipment array have all but driven the car straight into the hearts of the Indian middle class.
Owing to its stellar acceptance and booming sales figures, the Nexon has just hit an epic milestone of rolling out the 50,000th unit. The achievement came in less than an year and the 50,000th car rolled out from the automaker’s Ranjangaon plant.
Flaunting Level NEX design, Performance and Technology,the Nexon had made its debut back in September 2017 and later sprinted into top-hole popularity, amassing quite a lot of awards and recognitions throughout the course.
The car comes with a choice of 1.2L Turbocharged Revotron petrol and 1.5L turbocharged Revotorq diesel engines.Though offered in only manual initially, the Nexon now gets a HyprDrive Self-Shift AMT gearbox as well.
Hosting a not-so-short array of safety equipment and a staunch shell, the car had also scored a 4 star Global NCAP safety rating recently.
