Matter also debuted new battery pack and fast charger
Indian electric two-wheeler startup Matter Motorworks has unveiled 2 new, next-generation electric motorcycle concepts at the ongoing 2023 Auto Expo- EXE and UT. Details about these concepts are sparse at the moment, but it’s evident that both share similar architecture and styling.
The Concept EXE appears like an electrified supermoto. It gets a near-flat seat with a slight inclination towards the rear, a trellis swing arm, telescopic fork, mono-shock rear suspension, and a set of Pirelli Angel GT tyres.
The UT concept looks like the brand’s maiden attempt at an adventure tourer with saddle stays, dual-purpose tyres, knuckle guards, large top box, flat seat, and a tiny front visor.

Both concepts feature a gear lever, which indicates that the technology shown on the Matter e-Bike a few months ago will trickle down to the final products as well. Another common feature on both is a petal front disc and a round rear disc.
Alongside the concepts, Matter also showcased the 6 kWh variant of the Matter electric bike, which is India’s first geared electric motorcycle. Pricing and information regarding pre-orders will be announced soon. The company also launched a battery pack and a fast charger at the event.
