Toyota Innova Crysta diesel making a return…
Toyota Innova Crysta diesel made a comeback into the Indian market last week. Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has started accepting bookings of the new diesel guise of the MPV. Diesel Crysta will be available in four variants -G, GX, VX and ZX. Customers can choose from five colour ways- White Pearl Crystal Shine, Superwhite, Silver, Attitude Black and Avant-Garde Bronze.
The Innova Crysta diesel can be booked from your nearest Toyota dealership or from the company’s official website with a booking amount of Rs. 50,000. You can choose the variant, desired colour option, delivery location etc and make payment through the company’s official website.
Innova Crysta comes with a 2.4-litre turbocharged diesel engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The engine, as expected, is RDE compliant, which will make the power figures slightly different from the earlier version. The previously offered 6-speed automatic transmission is not available at the relaunch. Eco and Power drive modes are offered in the MPV. The Crysta has come back with an updated front fascia.
Other major updates are the 8-way adjustable electric seats for the driver, auto AC with rear vents, ambient lighting, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto/Apple Carplay, etc. In terms of safety features, the MPV gets seven airbags, parking sensors at the front and back, stability control and hill start assist (HSA). Toyota Innova Crysta could be priced from Rs.19 lakh (ex-showroom). Major rivals will be XUV 700, Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus.
