The Mercedes Benz S Class Maestro Edition blends luxury with modern day technology
The newest gen S-Class is around the corner and Mercede-Benz bids adieu to the current model with Maestro edition. The farewell edition gets Alexa and Google Home integration along with Magic Sky control panoramic sunroof.
So let us look at what makes the Maestro Edition different from the regular S-Class. The Maestro Edition features panoramic sunroof with Mercedes’ Magic Sky Control Tech, letting passengers configure the transparency of the sunroof with a touch of a button. Interestingly, the front and rear passengers can set different levels of transparency independently. This will set back Rs 13 lakh extra over the regular S-Class.
The Maestro Edition also features a memory package for the front seats, steering wheel, and wing mirrors. In addition, the interior trims are made out of eucalyptus wood.
The car gets the latest version of Mercedes Me Connect (MMC) connectivity tech which enables the use of Alexa and Google Home along with the usual connected features like real-time vehicle tracking, remote operation of the windows and sunroof and speed alerts. Customers can make use of Google Home/Alexa devices or the mobile application to receive real-time updates or assign commands to the car.
With the new gen MMC you’ll never have to roam around the city in your S-Class for parking spots, the navigation system will show you the parking spots in the city.
Last but not least, one can get their S-Class Maestro Edition finished in Antracite Blue paint scheme. Or, if you like it more classy, Mercedes’ got you covered with the option of Diamond White exterior paint coupled with a ‘Nut Brown’ interiors.
The Maestro Edition will continue to use the same 3.0L six-cylinder turbo-diesel churning out 286hp and 600Nm of torque mated to the 9-speed automatic box, seen in the regular S-Class.
