The Ampere Magnus Pro would return ranges of 75-80 km per charge!
Ampere vehicles launches Magnus Pro e-scooter at INR 73990. The new launch is a more powerful version of the already existing Magnus 60 which is priced at 44699 INR (ex-showroom Bangalore). Ampere vehicles is a subsidiary of Greaves Cotton, focusing on providing innovative electric mobility in the Indian market.
Magnus pro brings a lot of features to offer for the higher price tag. Magnus Pro is powered by a Lithium-Ion battery, which the manufacturer claims, is capable of giving a range of 75-80 km on a full charge. Magnus 40, uses an acid battery and offered a range of 45-50 km. Magnus Pro is the company’s latest addition to its “high-speed models” next to the already popular model “Zeal”. Magnus Pro boasts of a claimed top speed of 55kmph which is 30kmph over the lower spec Magnus 60. Higher top speed is made possible for this model by the addition of 1.2 KW DC brushless motor.
Magnus pro is visually distinguished by the color schemes that the manufacturer has to offer. There are few cosmetic changes in the new scooter to give it a more premium touch. Also, the use of Li-ion batteries is expected to make the scooter lighter than the Magnus 60. 450mm legroom, wider and comfortable seat, Fully digital instrument cluster, all-LED headlamp, LED tail lamp, USB charging port, geo-fencing, and lot of other features make the present model a favorite choice for anyone looking for an electric scooter.
