Meet Florida’s Opera Singing Car Salesman!

An unlikely marketing star has emerged at a car dealership in Florida. A classically trained opera singer is turning routine vehicle listings into dramatic performances, and the internet cannot get enough of it.

Andrew Hiers, a bass-baritone performer, now works at Boniface Hiers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Instead of traditional sales pitches, he sings about horsepower, price, and performance in full operatic style. The unusual approach has now gone viral on social media.

Opera x Car Sales: The Unusual Combination

Hiers did not originally plan to become a car salesman. According to The Washington Post, the classically trained singer had been struggling to find steady performance work. Earlier this year, he accepted a job at the Florida dealership as a practical step to maintain a stable income. Despite sharing the same surname as the dealership, he is not related to its owners.

Soon after starting the job, Hiers began filming short videos outside the showroom. In each clip, he would deliver a full-throated operatic performance while promoting cars listed for sale. The format is simple but striking. Instead of a conventional advertisement, Hiers belts out lines about performance figures, prices, and warranty coverage as if performing a dramatic aria.

These musical car ads quickly gained traction online. In one viral video, Hiers stands beside a Chevrolet Corvette and sings about its driving experience before revealing the price in the caption. The clip reportedly crossed one million views on TikTok.

Another video features him performing next to a Chevrolet Camaro while singing a playful pitch encouraging buyers to act quickly before the car gets sold out. Each performance ends with a theatrical flourish and a simple request from the singer: ask for Andrew.

Only One Sale So Far?

The viral attention has made Hiers one of the most recognizable figures at the dealership. However, the online fame has not yet translated into a long line of orders. According to reports, Hiers has only sold one car so far.

Still, the exposure has introduced the opera singer to a much larger audience than he previously had. His videos are now going viral online, reaching viewers far beyond the local dealership.

Whether the performances ultimately lead to conversions remains to be seen. But for now, the singing salesman has managed to do something rare in the automotive retail world- turn a dealership lot into a stage!
