‘More on the New Ford GT at the Goodwood Festival of Speed…’- says Ford!
Ford has given out teaser images, that suggest but the carmaker prepping a thoroughly ‘race-inspired’ version of its globally acclaimed supercar- the Ford GT! It’s been over four years since the Ford GT supercar was first launched and this is gonna be the first major update to the same.
However, we don’t have much clue as to what exactly does Ford have under the veil. The teasers do not reveal much about the car. We can merely make out it to be a Ford GT. A keener look would reveal it to have a Le Mans-style huge rear wing and a prominent roof scoop, unlike the regular car, well, there ends the story!
The teasers that are out, aren’t adequate to make one figure out anything more about the upcoming Ford GT, (‘Secret well kept, Ford!’) and all that we could do at the moment, to actually know more about the GT, is to wait until it breaks veils next month!
Hermann Salenbauch, global director, Ford Performance, and Larry Holt, chief technical officer, Multimatic, will shed more light on the upcoming ‘Ford GT race car’, at a dedicated conversation with the media, on July 4th at the Ford pavilion, at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed! So if you happen to pass by West Sussex, UK, on the coming independence day, make sure to show up at the Ford stall and get a first-hand experience of the Ford GT ultra-high-performance supercar!
Before we sign off now, let us remind you again that we are expecting nothing short of a street-legal Le Mans-inspired road car out here, probably a GT3RS of Fords!
