Hero Dirt Biking Challenge Launched In India | All Details

The winners get brand new Hero XPulse 200 4V motorcycles and sponsorship contracts

Contributing further to the development of motorsport in the country, Hero Motocorp has launched a first-of-its-kind dirt biking challenge in India. The Hero Dirt Biking Challenge (HDBC) aims at discovering talented new faces in the dirt biking scene. Budding riders, enthusiasts, and amateurs from the off-road racing sector can use the platform to groom their skills and establish a name in the sport.

Those participating in the Dirt Bike challenge would be trained by the Hero Motorsports Team Rally- the manufacturer’s motorsport vertical with Dakar wins to its credit. The top participants would be coached by Hero Team Rally riders- Ross Branch, Joaquim Rodrigues, Sebastian Buhler, and Franco Caimi.

HDBC’s round 1, will have sessions in around 45 cities across the country. Shortlisted candidates would then take up regional rounds in 18 cities. Top-100 selected riders will then attend a 5-day regional boot camp, where they would be trained by CS Santosh. Top-20 participants after this would compete in the finals at the world-class Center of Innovation of Technology (CIT), in Hero’s R&D center in Jaipur.

The winner and two runner-ups would take home Hero XPulse 200 4V motorcycles and sponsorship contracts from the manufacturer worth 20 lakh. HDBC sessions will be telecasted via MTV and through Voot, in the coming November. Check out the HDBC official website for more details and registrations.
