Land Rover continues its commitment to Rugby fans
World Rugby and Land Rover have joined hands for yet another Rugby World Cup. The British SUV major has now been confirmed as the fifth worldwide partner for the Rugby World Cup 2023 in France. Land Rover’s first child mascot for this year’s tournament, 8-year-old Arthur from Paris has joined LR Rugby ambassadors Dimitri Yachvili and Bryan Habana to celebrate the occasion. Young Arthur plays Rugby for Racing Club Asnieres (Sur Seine), near Paris.
Land Rover had first become the partner for Rugby World Cup in 2015. It was then that it started the Rugby World Cup mascot program, that allowed young fans to join the team captains on the pitch before every match. This year, however, the mascots would be called ‘Land Rover Defenders of Tomorrow’, what other set of words could tell it better!
As for the championship, World Rugby 2023 in France will be held from September 8 to October 28, 2023, and happens to be the tenth edition of the event.
