Maruti Suzuki Arena Car Prices Hiked!

Almost all Arena models are now more expensive than before

Maruti Suzuki recently increased the price of its Nexa range of vehicles as well as the Maruti Suzuki Arena products. The brand issued a statement in December regarding the inevitable price hike of their models due to the rising input costs and other reasons.

Arena is the fourth and latest addition to Maruti Suzuki’s retail channel. The other retail mediums are NEXA, Commercial and True Value. Alto, Alto K10, S-Presso, Celerio, Wagon R, Swift, Tour S, Dzire, Brezza and Ertiga are the cars that are being sold through Arenas. Nexa is meant for more premium cars of the brand such as the Grand Vitara, Ciaz, Ignis, XL6 etc.

Multiple MS Arena cars have now had their prices go up. Entry-level hatchback, Alto is hit with a hike of Rs. 15,000 across its variants, except for the LXI (0) CNG trim, whose price is increased by Rs.10,000. The Alto is now priced from Rs. 3.54 lakh to Rs. 5.13 lakh (ex-showroom).

Some trims of the recently launched new-gen Alto K10 are also subjected to a price hike. 1.0L VXI MT and VXI+ AMT variants witness a hike of Rs. 5000, while VXl 1.0L AMT’s price goes up by Rs. 10,000. The mini hatchback is now priced at Rs. 3.99 lakh for the base variant and Rs. 5.94 lakh for the top-spec model.

A price hike of Rs. 10,000 hits the new Celerio too, hiking its price range to start at Rs. 4.25 lakh and go up to Rs. 6.10 lakh. The Celerio price range lies between Rs. 5.35 lakh and Rs. 7.13 lakh. The ZXI 1.0L AMT Celerio now faces a price hike of almost Rs. 21,000. The wagon R’s prices were also increased by up to Rs. 21,900 for the ZXI 1.2L AMT. The base variant is now available at Rs. 5.53 lakh. The top variant will cost you around Rs.7.41 lakh.

The sportier Swift will now be available at outlets for a price range between 5.99 lakh and Rs. 8.98, after a price hike of Rs.21,000. The Tour-S variant also gets a hike of Rs.30,000 while the Dezire gets Rs. 20,000 price hike. The base trim of the Brezza, compact SUV will now be sold with a price increase of Rs. 20,000 while other trims of the Dezire will get Rs. 8000 hike. The Ertiga MPV prices are up by Rs. 8000, hiking its price range between Rs. 8.49 lakh and Rs. 12.93 lakh (ex-showroom).
