The MG5 is available with two options for the battery pack – a 50.3 kWh unit that offers 156 HP and 320km of range and a 61.1 kWh unit that produces 177 HP and 400km of range. The battery can charge at speeds of up to 87 kW. The Auto Expo showcasing is as an attempt to gauge public interest.
