Yes it has been an year since Tata motors launched their blockbuster compact SUV Nexon in India and the car has been doing great in sales all this while. As part of celebrating the first anniversary and in an effort to thank the existing owners for the stellar acceptance and love for the product, Tata Motors has announced the launch of a limited run, special edition version of Nexon. Named Nexon KRAZ (pronounced as craze, /kreiz/), the car is essentially an aesthetically beefed up Nexon.
The neo-styling design treatment draws inspiration from the world of sports and needless to say in particular, makes the already-athletic Nexon look even more sporty and fresh.
Finished in an exclusive shade of Tromso Black, the exterior of KRAZ edition is further embellished by young looking Neo-green accents on places like mirrors, front grille, wheels etc along with an active looking KRAZ badging. The dual tone sonic silver roof adds an extra air of elegance to the KRAZ edition.
The cabin also has a host of spunky bits that are exclusive to KRAZ like the Neo green stitch with KRAZ pattern for seat cushions, Piano black dashboard with neo-green air–vent surrounds, Piano black door and console finishers, Piano black steering accents, Central control badging etc.
There are no mechanical changes at all, and the KRAZ edition continues to be powered by the same 1.5 L Revotorq diesel and 1.2 Revotron petrol mills, each producing 110PS of power and mated beautifully to a 6 speed manual gearbox. Both the diesel and petrol models have on offer, three drive modes to choose from.

If I were to keep on talking about the Nexon Kraz, I would end up speaking endlessly about its best in class ground clearance of 209 mm, the 4-speaker infotainment by Harman that it comes with, Bluetooth and steering mounted controls, automatic climate controls with rear air vents, and so on, but for now let me just keep things short and sweet by reminding you again that the Nexon is the safest compact SUV that one can buy for its price!

Available in two trims, viz., KRAZ and KRAZ+, this limited edition has its prices starting from INR 7.14 lakhs for the petrol and INR. 8.07 lakhs for the diesel respectively
