Skoda Kushaq Interior Previewed In Official Design Sketches

Skoda India has released the official design sketches of the upcoming Skoda Kushaq as the launch nears…

The Skoda Vision IN SUV or the Kushaq is simply among the most anticipated launches this year. We have all been waiting so long for this. With the official unveil scheduled for later this month, Skoda has been busy teasing us with design sketches. A couple of days back, we had seen the carmaker let out a bunch of exterior sketches of the SUV and now a couple of design renders of the Skoda Kushaq interior have also surfaced. Needless to say, these images invoke a lot of expectations and we think it is worth waiting for the actual SUV…

Skoda Kushaq Interior Sketches

Going by the sketches, the cabin of the Kushaq would be as enticing as its exterior in terms of visual appeal. The dash seems to have been beautifully drawn, with a prominent character line that resonates with the symmetrical contours of the Skoda grille as such. One could also see a number of neatly integrated storage spaces and a curated set of trims and accents.

The most important highlight would be the large 10-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment screen that is hoped to come with all modern-day connectivity features and a highly usable interface. Going by the sketches, the Kushaq will have a two-spoke steering wheel with the floating boss effect, something that is not seen in any of the competition. The Kushaq would even have all-digital instrumentation, further upping its tech appeal.

The Kushaq will be the first product from Skoda as part of VW India 2.0 project. With as much as 95% localization gone into it, the Kushaq would be built upon a heavily reworked version of Volkswagen Group’s MQB A0 platform, something which goes by the name MQB A0 IN. The Kushaq will be officially launched later this month and will in the course of time, be joined by three other India-spec models.

The Kushaq is expected to have a 1.0L TSI petrol engine upon launch, that will be capable of generating 110 hp, and would be mated to a 6 speed torque converter automatic transmission.
