Tata Motors Sales Grow By 6% M-o-M In June 2022

The Indian manufacturer emerges a winner in June!

Tata Motors Limited registered combined sales of 79,606 vehicles in June 2022, an 82% growth from the 43,704 units of June 2021. Meanwhile, the m-o-m figures grew by 6%, closing at 74,755 units. In Q1 FY23 the sales increased to 2,25,828 from the 1,07,786 units mark of Q1 FY22, translating to a y-o-y growth of 110%.

The total number of commercial Vehicles that Tata sold in June 2022 amounts to 37,265 units. 22,100 CVs were sold in June last year. The Y-o-Y growth has thus been a good 69%. The m-o-m figures grew by 14% from the 32,818 units of May 2022. In Q1 FY23, Tata’s CV sales have been 10,0921 units, from the 50,145 units of Q1 FY22, meaning a huge y-o-y hike of 101%.   

Net PV sales in June were 45,197 units, reflecting an 87% y-o-y increase (June 2021 had reported 24,110 units in sales). The m-o-m growth stands at 4%. The sales of ICE vehicles have had a y-o-y growth of 78%, with 41,690 units sold in June 2022. Tata Motors continues to maintain its position as an extremely strong player in the EV space, selling 3507 electric vehicles in June this year (a 433% hike from the June 2021 figures of 658 units!). The monthly sales have grown by 5% on ICE offerings and a lesser 2% on EVs.
