So the Tata Nexon EV is here! Tata Motors has launched the much-awaited joiner to the electric mobility line up with absolute zero-emissions- India’s own Electric SUV, at an exciting price starting from INR 13.99 lakhs (ex-showroom pan India)

The electric vehicle is available in 3 variants: XM, XZ+ and XZ+ LUX, equipped with the Ziptron technology and in 3 different hues -Signature Teal Blue, Moonlit Silver and Glacier White.
Projector headlamps, LED DRLs, automatic climate control, keyless entry with button start, all four power windows, an electric tailgate, and a set of 16-inch steel wheel rim with EV highlight cover is offered in all the variants in a dual-tone treatment with a contrast roof.
The two-toned cabin with blue highlights is neatly furnished with large seven-inch digital instrument cluster, Harman touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and is packed with standard safety features and technologies like dual airbags, front fog lamps with cornering function, hill ascent and descent assist, ABS with EBD and cornering stability control.
Under the hoods, a permanent magnet AC motor is powered by a 30.2 kWh Li-ion battery. A torque of 245 Nm is churned out by the advanced powertrain so as to pick up a 100 kmph speed in 9.9 seconds.
The battery once fully charged offers a 312 km anxiety-free drive and is designed to operate in all weather conditions.
The full charge can be attained in 8 hours and a quick charge up to 80% in just 60 minutes. And most impressively, Tata Motors is offering an 8 years/1.6 lakh km (whichever comes first) warranty with the Nexon EV.
