TVS will launch both ICE and electric products in Europe
TVS Motor Company has made headlines by announcing its foray into the European market through a collaboration with Emil Frey, a renowned name in the automotive business. This partnership signifies a major stride in TVS Motor Company’s global expansion strategy, tapping into Emil Frey’s expansive distribution network and profound market insights across Europe.
Emil Frey stands as one of the largest importers and retailers of automobiles in Europe, representing various leading automotive brands throughout the region. Under this collaboration, entities within the Emil Frey Group will oversee the distribution of TVS products in selected countries, utilizing their robust sales, marketing, and service networks. TVS Motor Company aims to introduce several products in Europe, including the TVS Jupiter 125, TVS NTORQ, TVS Raider, TVS iQube S, TVS X, TVS Ronin, TVS Apache RR 310, and TVS Apache RTR 310.

While TVS products are already available in over 80 countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America, constituting approximately 25% of the company’s business as of H1 FY 2023, Sudarshan Venu, MD of TVS Motor Company, expressed, “Our collaboration with Emil Frey marks a pivotal step in our global expansion plan. The collaborative efforts of these two companies will focus on establishing distribution networks in select EU markets, prioritizing countries with robust demand for two-wheelers and leveraging existing Emil Frey infrastructure and resources. France is set to witness the initial launch of TVS Motor products, including both ICE and EV models, scheduled to be available from January 2024 onwards.
