TVS Motor Company is apparently building a strong customer base in the country
TVS Motor Company, India’s 3rd largest motorcycle manufacturer reports a sales growth of 21% retailing 322,709 units in November 2020 as compared to 266582 units in the same period last year.
Growing demands for the TVS motorcycles and scooters have helped the company perform well in the two wheeler segment lately. Their current line-up of two wheelers comprises of the NTorq, Jupiter, Zest110, Scooty pep+, Apache RR310, RTR 160, RTR200, Star City and the moped, XL100 catering to a wide range of buyers all over India.
TVS two wheelers sales showed a growth of 25% selling 311519 units in November 2020 against 249350 units in November 2019. The 3-Wheeler, TVS King on the other hand showed a negative growth registering sales of 11,190 units against 17232 units in November 2019.
The unavailability of containers and impact on the operations of Chennai port due to cyclone Nivan was really a turn down for the exports in the last week of November. Although TVS has registered a considerable growth of 10% in two-wheeler exports at 63730 units against 58128 units in the same month last year.
With 2021 around the corner TVS is likely to introduce some models next year. Which will further help the brand cater to even wider spectrum.
