Aiming to expand its footprint in the state, Volkswagen India has opened 6 new touchpoints in Kerala. These include city stores in Calicut, Trivandrum and Kochi, a standalone body shop in Kochi, and two new sales and service facilities in Palakkad and Kodungallur. The German marque now has 21 sales and 16 service touchpoints across Kerala.
Volkswagen City Stores in Calicut, Trivandrum, and Kochi have ample room and facilities to showcase the present portfolio- Taigun, Virtus, and Tiguan. VW Calicut city store, however, has a two-car display model. EVM Group runs VW City stores in Trivandrum, Kochi and the new body shop whereas the new facilities at Palakkad and Kodungallur are managed by Phoenix Cars.
The newly opened VW City store in Kochi is the second VW facility in the city. It is situated at Kalamassery while the bigger dealership is at Maradu.
The New Volkswagen Body Shop In Kochi
The newly opened body shop is located in Chandiroor, a few kilometres from the city. It has 11 bays and will offer comprehensive services and in-depth body repair to VW cars alongside Express services. The facility will add to the ease and convenience of Volkswagen ownership in Kochi.

Alongside the new facilities, Volkswagen India has also launched a limited-run special edition for the Virtus and Taigun. Dubbed the ‘Onam edition‘, this will be limited to just 200 units, exclusive to the Kerala market.
