MSIL is prepping the new Maruti Swift 2024 for a soon-to-happen market debut.
Key visual changes to be expected are updated headlamps, larger grille, new bumpers, new alloy wheels, new tail lamps, and a slightly reworked spoiler.
Unlike the outgoing car that has its rear handles integrated into the C-pillar, the new Maruti Swift could come with regular door handles.
The prototypes also suggest the reflectors to be repositioned.
The next generation Swift will be 15 mm longer, and hopefully wider and taller as well.
The car will have more room inside. Spy shots suggest the debut of a new dashboard and climate control panel.
It will come with a larger 9 inch touchscreen with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto.
The 4th Gen Swift in many global markets, feature updated instrument cluster and ADAS. These are, however, unlikely to come to India.
Expected on the upcoming Maruti Swift is a new 1.2L, 3 cylinder, mild hybrid petrol engine, that reportedly has significantly higher fuel efficiency.
Upon launch, the new Maruti Swift 2024 will compete with the likes of Tata Tiago and Hyundai i10 NiOS.
