Just two of the 5.5 Crore AMG GT Black Series have been allotted for India
Mercedes Benz has delivered the first AMG GT Black Series in India, priced from Rs 5.5 crores here. The AMG GT Black Series is the most powerful AMG car yet. It is powered by a 4.0L V8 bi-turbo engine and gets extensive motorsport-borrowed engineering and tech. Just two units of this super sports car have been allotted to India and it is the first that’s been delivered now. India’s first AMG GT Black series has been delivered to Bangalore’s Boopesh Reddy, aka Bren Garage, who is quite known for his iconic collection of super and sportscars.

Mercedes AMG GT Black Series: What’s So Special About It?
The AMG GT Black Series gets a design that facilitates performance supremacy. It gets a new larger front apron, a Carbon fibre bonnet with two larger air outlets and visible CF surfaces, CF front wings with integrated louvres, and a lightweight CF roof with a sunken centre.
The interior gets generous use of exclusive Nappa leather/ DINAMICA microfibre. Light AMG Carbon-fibre bucket seats are standard, while AMG performance seats are also available.
The two-door vehicle draws its juice from a 4.0L bi-turbo flat-plane V8, with a flat crankshaft that produces 730 hp and 800 Nm! Transmission duties are on a 7G dual-clutch AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT. 0-100 kph can be achieved in just 3.2 seconds! 200 kph comes in 9 seconds and the top speed is 325 kph. Mercedes has given the GT Black series AMG Traction control, to help the driver effectively manage the immense power sent to the rear wheels.
