Bookings for the BS6 Panigale V4 are now open across dealerships
Ducati has lanched the BS6 Panigale V4 in the country. The prices for the 2021 Panigale V4 stand at INR 23.50 lakh for the V4 and 28.40 lakh for the V4 S. The standard variant is now INR 80,000 more expensive than its predecessor, while the price of the V4S has gone up by 1.90 lakh!
The Panigale V4 is Ducati’s flagship superbike. It is also the fully faired counterpart of the recently launched Streetfighter V4. The 2021 Panigale retains almost all major design cues of the previous model and comes with a V4 R inspired aerodynamic package. The Plexiglas, headlight and side fairings now look more or less like those of the V4 R.The 2021 Panigale also features lateral extracts for more efficient airflow.
In terms of electronics, the all-new Ducati Panigale gets the latest generation of Ducati Traction Control (DTC EVO 3), ABS Cornering EVO, Ducati Slide Control, wheelie control, power launch, and electronic suspension. The Riding modes have also been revisited on the new Panigale and are now even more flexible and efficient. The Panigale V4 and V4 S also get a chain guard fin, heated grips, self bleeding brake and clutch pumps, and a new grip for the ignition key.
The Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine continues to make the same 214 hp and 124 Nm as before but is now BS6 compliant. The exhausts have been reworked to achieve the new emission standards. The bike is underpinned by the same reworked frame, that had debuted in 2020.
The V4 S is a bulky 4.90 lakh more expensive than the base spec Panigale and gets things like electronically controlled Ohlins suspension, Lithium-ion battery and forged Aluminium wheels to justify its price premium. Ducati has already started taking bookings for the new Panigale V4 and V4 S across its dealerships and the deliveries are known to begin soon.
