Yamaha FZ-S continues to be a popular nameplate in the Indian market
Yamaha is looking to launch the 2022 FZ-S in India soon. The 150cc Yamaha FZ-S range will be available in three new colors as well. The motorcycle is hoped to get more acceptance with the update.
The base variant would get Purple, Blue metallic, and black metallic colors. The second variant might come in two colors: Matte Dull Red and Matte purple-blue. The top-spec FZ-S Deluxe will be available in Black Metallic, Deep Red Metallic, and Pastel Dark Gray, suggest a few leaked documents.
The new FZ S will also get colored wheels, dual-tone seats, LED tail lamps, and LED turn signals. The price of the base variant would likely be Rs. 1.10 lakh, while FZ-S could come with a price tag of Rs. 1.15 Lakh (Rs 1000 more than the outgoing price) and FZ-S Deluxe at around Rs. 1.19 Lakh.'
As far as the engines are concerned, the new FZ will continue to use the same 149cc single-cylinder engine that can churn out 12.2 BHP. As a matter of fact, this engine is quite fuel-efficient and is also being used in the Yamaha FZ-X.
