The cabin retains the same black and beige theme in the petrol version and an ivory/black combo in the hybrid version.
The regular petrol top-end variant now comes with ADAS tech (Honda sensing), enabling features like adaptive cruise control, auto emergency braking, lane keep assist, and more. Other features include six airbags, TPMS, ambient lighting, wireless smartphone charger, and others.
The sedan retains the 1.5L NA petrol engine developing 121 hp and the 1.5L strong hybrid petrol making 126 hp. The former comes with a six-speed MT or a CVT, while the latter is paired only with an e-CVT. Unfortunately, the 1.5L diesel engine has been discontinued. Honda claims mileage of 27.13 kmpl for the e:HEV variant , 17.8 kmpl for petrol MT and 18.4 kmpl for petrol CVT.
Overall, the 2023 Honda City’s refreshed design, new features, and updated powertrain options make it a compelling choice in the midsize sedan segment.
