2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Facelift Launched From 5.69 Lakh

The Nios facelift gets minor styling changes and no mechanical revision

Hyundai motors shared the official images of the updated 2023 Grand i10 Nios before the auto expo, hinting at the model being launched there.
But the company didn’t unveil the Nios at the auto Expo as expected. Hyundai has now announced the price of the hatch and began its bookings. The new Nios is priced between Rs 5.69 lakh to Rs 8.47 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Deliveries will begin soon and customers can book the vehicle for a token of Rs. 11,000.

The Hyundai i10 was launched in India in 2007 and became an instant success in the market. The entry-level hatch went through a number of updates over the years. The latest update comes with a revised front and rear fascia, new upholstery and updated equipment and features. The updated front bumper, prominent grille and new DRLs are the major highlights of the exterior. The rear side brings an updated tail light design. A new colour, Spark Green, has been added to the colour options of the Nios.

The little hatch is filled with advanced features such as TPMS, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), cruise control, Hill Start Assist (HSA), optional 6 airbag safety, steering wheel-mounted controls, etc. The facelift is offered in 4 variants – Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta. The Nios carries a 1.2-litre petrol engine, producing 83 PS and 113.8 Nm and is mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. While the manual gearbox is available in every trim, the AMT is not offered on the base E trim. The diesel engine has been discontinued in India. The Nios facelift will rival Tata Tiago, Maruti Swift and the outgoing Ignis.
