Expect the sedan to be quite feature-packed…
Hyundai India is readying to launch the new Verna 2023 in the country. The sedan, expected to make its global debut soon, is hoped to bring the winds back into the C-segment saloon space. Much buzz has been building around it, especially after Hyundai let out the official sketches and a few undisguised spy shots that surfaced later in time.
An earlier teaser had given a quick glimpse of the rear seat and room offered on the Verna 2023. The sedan is expected to be considerably wider than the one it replaces. The manufacturer has now released more details of its kit levels, and there are quite a bunch of reasons to wait for it.

What Features To Expect On Hyundai Verna 2023?
Verna has always been loved for the features and equipment it offered. The car has been well-kitted over its generations here, and the same is expected to continue on the 2023 model. The latest teasers and images show some key features of the upcoming Hyundai Verna.
- Large Dual Screen setup
- Bose premium audio system
- Switchable infotainment-climate control touch panel
- Heated and ventilated seats
- Most features from the previous Verna
Dual Screen Displays
Dual screens are becoming a thing in the Indian market. The new Verna will come with two large display screens mounted on a wide housing, functioning as the infotainment touchscreen and instrumentation display respectively. These 10.25-inch full-HD screens take a fair share of dashboard real estate. The touchscreen would come with features like wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
The 10.25-inch instrumentation screen gets the same fonts, layout and colours as the one on Kia Carens. We personally do not find this to be the most attractive though. The mounting and design of the dual-screen setup could remind you of those from bigger, more expensive cars like the Mahindra XUV 700.

Switchable Infotainment- Climate Control Interface
What’s being a segment-first, the Verna would come with a switchable infotainment-climate control interface. The lower centre console has a pair of rotary switches and a touch panel, that can function as both the controls for the climatronic AC and for the infotainment unit, switching managed by a physical button.
8 Speaker BOSE Premium Audio
Another thing to take note of inside, would be the 8-speaker premium audio unit from Bose. Modern Hyundai Cars excel with their audio systems and the new Verna could be no different. The sedan will feature an 8 speaker premium audio system from Bose. We have seen similar ones on the new i20 and Creta.
More Features
Hyundai Verna 2023 will come with almost all features from its predecessor. Thus, things like wireless charger, ventilated seats, rear AC vents, single-zone climate control (No dual zones!), cruise control, etc are all to be expected. Thing to note here is that the new Verna will have both ventilated and heated seats.

The new Verna will debut on March 21, 2023. The manufacturer is already accepting bookings for the car. The sedan will launch as a petrol-only model with a 1.5 NA and 1.5 turbo petrol engines being offered. The previous 1.0 TGDi will be shelved and major performance improvements are rumoured this time. It is also known to come with ADAS suite. 2023 Hyundai Verna will battle the likes of VW Virtus, Skoda Slavia and the new City.
