It in fact got sold out for 2021 in no time. The deliveries began in November and the manufacturer has plans of delivering 5000 units this year. Here are a few of the first customers expressing their initial impressions on their new acquisitions and venting out the excitement…

The Astor is available in four different variants- Style, Super, Smart, and Sharp, with both NA and turbocharged petrol engines, mated to manual and automatic transmissions. Much as the case with many of its siblings, MG Astor also claims to offer stunningly low ownership costs of around 47 paise per kilometer and impressive buyback guarantees. MG vehicles are usually praised well for their residual values.
The bookings for the car are expected to resume in early 2022. Meanwhile, you could read our first drive review of the Astor for our initial impressions on it or our compilation of things which we didn’t like about it.
