Second-gen Mahindra Thar was launched in India on August, 2020. It was one of the most anticipated launch of that year. The Thar being India’s most reliable and popular off-roader, the second-gen of the 4X4 was warmly welcomed by the car community. It came with two different engine options – a 2.0L petrol and a 2.2L diesel engine, mated to either a 6-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual transmission. To make things more interesting, Mahindra offered the Thar in 3 different body styles : hard-top, soft-top and even a soft-top convertible. At the time of its launch, the Thar was priced from Rs. 9.8 lakhs, while the current price starts from Rs. 9.99 lakhs.
