TVS NTorq 125 XT comes packed with technology and features
Automakers these days are keen on introducing sophisticated smart features on their popular models. TVS has struck the ball right and has launched the top-of-the-line Ntorq 125 XT with the industry-first hybrid TFT instrument cluster and improved voice assist. There is also a new Neon colorway with unique body graphics on offer on the scooter.
Launched with an ex-showroom price tag of Rs.1,02,823 (Delhi), the NTorq XT has started reaching dealerships pan India. This variant is only available with front disc brakes, and tops the portfolio, sitting above the NTorq Race XP. (Did you miss our NTorq Race XP review?)

What’s So Special About It?
Technology and features remain almost the entire point of NTorq XT. The key attraction here is the hybrid TFT display with the new and improved SmartXonnect connectivity that provides 60+ features including an advanced voice assist. The display cluster offers remarkable display quality.
Interestingly, the SmartX talk system accepts a plethora of voice commands letting the rider change modes, adjust the display brightness, access navigation, control music, etc through speech. Also, it grants access to a good deal of useful information such as low fuel warnings, fuel wastage, rain alerts, and much more through voice notification. It also lets you keep track of the weather, news, cricket score, and even your social media alerts!
The NTorq XT also comes with new Black alloy wheels that are lighter and claimed to improve the overall performance, fuel efficiency, and handling of the scooter. The changes on the mechanical front, however, are minimal. There are no changes on the tubular frame or the suspension for that matter.
Ntorq XT is powered by a 124.8 cc, three-valve, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 9.25 hp at 7,000 rpm and 10.5 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm, much like a regular NTorq BS6. (Which also means that this scooter misses out on the extra fun you’d have with a Race XP!). The XT, however, comes with TVS IntelliGO technology to ensure a smoother, silent start and there is even an idle-start/stop feature for added advantage.
