The Scorpio N is now officially India’s most affordable 3-row SUV with AWD!
Mahindra & Mahindra has revealed the prices of the Scorpio N automatic and AWD variants. The introductory prices of the automatics start at 15.45 lakh (ex-sh) for petrols, and at 15.95 lakh for the diesels. These are premiums of around Rs 1.96 lakh over the corresponding manuals. The automatic prices go up to Rs 21.45 lakh for the top-spec diesel auto.

The plus side here is that the new Scorpio offers automatic gearboxes on both petrol and diesel powertrains. The transmission here is an AISIN-sourced 6-speed automatic unit that also finds a place on the new XUV700.

The ScorpioN keeps the nameplate’s legacy safe and offers a full-blown 4WD system. The ‘shift-on-fly’ 4WD unit also features a first-in-class Intelligent Terrain Management Technology- 4XPLOR. Interestingly, 4WD is available on the Z4, Z8, and Z8L diesel variants, but at a greater premium than what’s on the automatics.

Look at the figures and you’d get to see the 4WD variants are pricier than the corresponding 2WDs by up to 2.45 lakh. It has, however, become the most affordable 3-row SUV with 4WD on sale today. The Scorpio N would offer a 6-seater layout on the top-spec Z8L variant alone and is dearer by Rs 20,000.

Mahindra Scorpio N Booking, Deliveries, And More Details
Mahindra has already opened the ‘Add to Cart‘ feature for the Scorpio N. The bookings will open on July 30, 2022, from 11 am onwards. The deliveries are expected to begin on September 26. Mahindra says over 20,000 units are being readied for rollout until December. Z8L would be prioritized for deliveries. Customers would be able to edit their choices (variants) till 15th August.
