MG is working on increasing the production of their premium SUV, MG Gloster, to overcome the SUV supply situation.
MG Motor India has released their February 2023 retail sales report today. As per the report, MG sales in India were 4193 units last month. MG started the bookings of the next-gen Hector recently and is getting good responses from all over the country. The company also mentioned about the waiting period for some variants of the Hector and the issues in the supply of these SUVs. MG is currently focused on increasing the production of its premium SUV, MG Gloster, in order to meet the demands of SUV enthusiasts.
In collaboration with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, MG underlined its commitment to establishing a strong EV ecosystem in India and opened 12 DC fast charging stations for EVs along the Delhi-Jalandhar corridor (BPCL). The first pure electric internet SUV in India, the ZS EV, is ready to meet the nation’s rising demand for EVs with the expansion of its production. This will cater to the demand of EV aspirants in India.
