BYD Seal Design
The Seal sedan was previously showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo, where we loved its design and the swag it packs. It borrows key design cues from the BYD Ocean X concept car and looks brilliant in flesh. It is based on the ‘Ocean Aesthetics’ design language. Key design highlights include a coupe-like roof line, flush door handles, clean lines, boomerang-shaped quad LED DRLs, LED headlamps, and magnificent light bars.
In its dimensions, the BYD Seal is 4,800mm long, 1,875mm wide, and 1,460mm in height. It rides on beautiful 19-inch wheels and is available in four different exterior paints- Arctic Blue, Aurora White, Atlantis Grey, and Cosmos Black.
BYD Seal Interior And Features
The BYD Seal electric sedan’s interior features a rotating 15.6-inch infotainment touchscreen while the driver gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with a head-up display. The interior design of the BYD Seals is similar to that of the Atto 3, incorporating clean flowing lines and smooth, textured surfaces.
The center console features a crystal-transparent drive selector, and a few physical buttons for functions such as a heated windscreen, volume controls, and more. BYD Seal sedan also has two wireless charging bays.
The sedan’s rear seats have a 60:40 folding configuration. The rear tailgate is powered, boot space is decent and the frunk can hold an additional 50 litres.
Other features on the BYD sedan include an 8-way electronically adjustable driver seat with memory function, heated and cooled front seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, leatherette upholstery, dual-zone AC, automatic wipers, a 360-degree camera, and ADAS.
The Seal has a 5-star Euro NCAP rating and comes with 10 airbags, ABS with hill hold, and more safety tech.
