Tata Motors releases the first teaser of its much-anticipated product
Tata Altroz Racer is a highly anticipated product from the Indian manufacturer. The performance hatchback was first showcased at the Auto Expo and later at the Bharat Mobility Expo. Various test mules have also been spotted over time and now the ‘i20 N Line-rival’ has been finally teased, ahead of its launch next month.
Tata Altroz Racer: What Does The Teaser Suggest?
The teaser image shows the car in a dual-tone colourway of Orange and Black. This is the same paint scheme that was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The teaser, however, has the car wear a different set of wheels, than the show car.
Other expected colours on the upcoming Altroz Racer include a Red-Black dual tone, and an all-Black colourway with hood stripes (vaguely resembling the #Dark edition).
Tata Altroz Racer Design And Interior
Key exterior highlights include side skirts, a bigger roof spoiler etc. The concept car had beefier alloy wheels which seem to be replaced with those on the regular Altroz in the production form. Altroz Racer will have an all-Black interior, packed with features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen, 360-degree camera, ventilated seats and a voice-activated electric sunroof.
Tata Altroz Racer Specifications
The Altroz Racer will be powered by the 1.2L turbo petrol engines sourced from the Nexon, which can churn out 120 PS and 170 Nm. The hatchback will be available with a 6-speed manual transmission. We are not sure of the possibility of an automatic.
The steering and suspension will be recalibrated for better road manners and sharper handling, like what Hyundai did with the i20 N Line. Expect better steering feedback on the Racer than a regular Altroz.

What will be the launch date of Tata Altroz Racer?
Tata Motors could launch the Altroz Racer in early June. We don't have a date yet, but we know for a fact that it is June. Tata has even released the first official teaser of the Altroz Racer.
