The GLE 53 Coupe will mark the debut of AMG 53 series here
Mercedes Benz is gearing up for yet another BIG launch in the country. The manufacturer is prepping the AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+ for an immediate Indian debut. This would be the first time that the AMG 53 series is coming to India. The official launch of the SUV will take place on Sept 23, 2020.
The GLE coupe used to be available in its 43 guises in the BS4 era. However, in the BS6 lineup, the SUV will slot in as the AMG 53 series. The GLE 53 has a 6 cylinder petrol and diesel engines in the global market. The AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+ will have just a twin turbocharged petrol engine with EQ Boost, and would make its way to the Indian shores. This mill is expected to churn out 435 hp and 520Nm.The EQ Boost system would provide an additional 16kW and 250Nm.
Mercedes Benz is now taking in bookings for the GLE 53 4MATIC+. You could book yours online or at the nearest dealers. The prices would be announced at the time of the launch
