Ather scooters without the state subsidies would now cost up to Rs. 1.51 lakh!
Leading EV mobility company Ather Energy has announced price hikes for its 450 Plus and 450X electric scooters. Both models are now dearer by up to Rs 5,500. The final prices of these models may vary depending on the subsidies prevailing in respective states. Ather cites rising inputs as the primary reason for the price revision.
Rather than hiking the prices of the scooters as such, Ather would now charge Rs 5,475 for the Ather Dot portable charger, which was previously being sold for Rs. 1. Post the price hike, Ather 450 Plus will be priced at Rs 1.09 lakh and Ather 450X to cost Rs 1.29 lakh, in Mumbai. In Bangalore, However, the 450X without subsidies will be available at 1.51 lakh.

With the price hike, Ather models now cost up to Rs. 14,000 more than the Ola S1 and S1 Pro. Ather electric scooters are manufactured at the facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The flagship Ather 450X is powered by a 2.9kWh lithium-ion battery and offers a range of 80.1 KM. The scooter appeals with its performance and thrill on offer.
