Bimota ADV Tourer Would Have A Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX Engine

Bimota adventure tourer will feature hub-steering

With two models showcased previously at the EICMA 2021, Italian motorcycle brand Bimota is not known to be working on building an adventure tourer.

The proposed hub-steering adv motorcycle will be powered by the supercharged inline-four engine of Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX. The 998cc engine will churn out 197.2 hp on the ADV, which would be built on the Tesi chassis. This is in fact, a tad lower than the sportier siblings. Plus, Hub center steering is not something we have often seen in the ADV space.

Kawasaki had purchased a 49% stake in Bimota in 2019 to revive the brand. The news was confirmed by Bimota CEO Pierluigi Marconi in an interview with the UK’s Motor Cycle News. Bimota will introduce the new motorcycle within two years, said Pierluigi Marconi.

At EICMA 2021, Bimota had showcased the 2022 Bimota KB4, a sports bike, and the KB4 RC naked bike. These bikes use the Ninja 1000SX’s engine.
