Delta Electronics Sets Up 6000 EV Chargers In India

Delta is also working on developing battery swapping and other desirable EV tech

A significant step in accelerating India’s Transition to e-mobility, Delta Electronics, a world leader in power and thermal management solutions, has announced that it has cumulatively supplied over 6,000 electric vehicles (EV) chargers across India. Delta has been providing energy-efficient EV charging solutions globally for more than a decade, drawing on its 50+ years of experience in high- efficiency power technologies.

Delta Electonics has had many notable associations and partnerships pan India, TATA Power, Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Ltd. (BESCOM), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL) and Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) being a few major ones. The manufacturer is now working on developing more advanced fast chargers and battery swapping tech.

Since 2009, Delta has shipped over 1 million EV chargers across the globe and has established itself as a significant supplier of powertrain and power electronics to multiple EV manufacturers. Currently, Delta India provides a full selection of EV chargers for 4 wheelers and e-Bus applications for the Indian market.
