Hero MotoCorp Sales Cross 4.5 Lakh Units In March

Hero MotoCorp registers sequential growth, shows signs of recovery

Hero MotoCorp sold 4,50,154 units in March 2022. This is a sequential growth over the volumes in February when Hero MotoCorp had dispatched 358,254 units of motorcycles and scooters.

Hero has sold 4,25,721 motorcycles and 24,433 scooters in March 2022. Total Y-o-Y sales in the domestic market dropped to 4,15,764 units from 5,44,340 in March 2021. Meanwhile, the exports surged to 34,390 units compared to 32,617 units in March 2021.

However, compared with the volumes in March 2021, World’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer is still struggling to get back to regular numbers in the pandemic-hit two-wheeler market. In March 2021, Hero MotoCorp had sold 5,76,957 units.

The total sales of Hero MotoCorp in the fiscal (April 2021-March 2022) amounted to 49,44,150 units. Hero is aggressively promoting its models as Covid-19 restrictions relax across the country. The company had recently launched the new Destini 125 XTEC scooter.
