KTM branded adventure motorcycling has now become more accessible !
KTM, India’s fastest growing premium motorcycle brand, has launched the 250 adventure at a more accessible price range for expanding the customer base. The 250cc adventure motorcycle adds juice to the adventure line of the manufacturer. The adventure 390 had received a warm welcome from the Indian enthusiasts upon launch and is now a success here. The Adventure 250 is positioned to offer access to a wider range of riders who prefers smaller and more affordable KTM machine.
The new adventure 250 is powered by an already proven 248cc DOHC 4 valve liquid-cooled engine producing 30 ps and 24 nm of torque. An advanced fuel injection system ensures a seamless power delivery throughout the band. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission coupled with Power Assist Slipper Clutch (PASC), which is one of the most advanced clutch assemblies in its segment.
This engineering mastery is perfected with state of the art pieces of equipment which inspire more confidence to the rider to scale the unexplored paths. Shod with a WP Apex suspension, the rear suspension offers 177mm travel with preload adjustability and at the front, an upside-down 43mm boasts of 170mm of travel. Such a sophisticated suspension setup is complemented by a set of heavy-duty cast wheels [19’’/17’’] at both ends wrapped in travel-specific tubeless tires to ensure optimal grip on all terrains.
The brakes are BYBRE units made by Brembo at both ends featuring a 320 mm front brake disc and 4-piston radially mounted caliper and a 230mm disc at the rear. A switchable ABS unit from Bosch adds to the safety of the motorcycle. It is also equipped with an off-road mode to ensure lesser intrusion when going off the roads. KTM Power parts offered through the dealership will be available to further enhance the protection, looks, and performance of the bike.
A larger 14.5-liter tank offers a larger range to the motorcycle with BS6 compliancy. This well-equipped motorcycle is available for booking throughout the KTM dealers pan India at an ex-showroom price of 2,48,256 (Delhi).
