MG Gloster is India’s first SUV to get autonomous Level 1 ADAS
Morris Garages India has launched the 7 seater version of the MG Gloster SUV. The top-spec Gloster was earlier available as a six-seater alone, with captain chairs on the second row. The 7 seater Gloster Savvy has a decently cushioned bench seat in the second row. The seven-seater MG Gloster Savvy is priced at Rs 37.28 lakh (ex-showroom). The seven-seater gets identical equipment levels and kit as the six-seater counterpart.
MG India had launched the Gloster in October 2020. The ladder-on-frame SUV had many perks to flaunt, the most important of them, however, was the ADAS (Adaptive Driver Assistance System), offering Level 1 autonomous driving. The Gloster was the first SUV to feature this technology in India. The SUV was available in four different trims-Super, Smart, Sharp, and Savvy.
MG Gloster has a 2.0L diesel engine in two different forms across it variants, 160hp single-turbo unit on the lower variants and a 216 hp twin-turbo setup on the Sharp and Savvy. If you wish to read more about how this SUV feels like to live with, check out our detailed review.
