5000 Bookings For The Nissan Magnite In Just 5 Days!

The Nissan Magnite has set much commotion in the B SUV segment in the country

Nissan India really went to extreme, pricing the new Magnite. We were too astonished to see the Magnite being launched at prices starting at INR 4.99 lakh. The range topping variant too at INR 10.35 lakh, is even cheaper than some of the rivals’ mid-variants. Unsurprisingly enough, Nissan received more than 5000 bookings for the car in just 5 days from the launch.

With such killer pricing the Magnite will surely attract a lot of buyers looking for hatchbacks, premium hatches and entry level sedans and the same makes up for the 50,000 enquiries that this car has received so far. 60 percent of the net bookings were for the top-spec variant and 30 percent of them opted for the CVT variant. You cannot go wrong with a Nissan CVT!

Like every other Nissan, the Magnite is also available in four trim-levels– XE, XL, XV, XV Premium. The range-topping XV Premium gets an extensive list of features like the LED bi-projector headlamps with LED DRLs, 16″ diamond-cut alloys, electrically operated ORVMs, functional roof rails that can carry up to 50kg weight, front and rear faux skid plates etc.

The Magnite also gets an 8.0 inch touchscreen infotainment system with a segment-first wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 7.0″ TFT display for the instrumentation, push-button start, voice recognition technology, cruise control, a 360-degree surround-view camera, tyre pressure monitor and all-black interiors.

You can choose to have either a 1.0L 3 cylinder NA petrol engine producing a healthy 72 hp and 96 Nm or a 1.0L 3 cylinder turbocharged petrol supplying 100 hp and 160 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual comes across the variants along with CVT option on the1.0L Turbo.
