The Skoda Rapid Rider gets a 1.6L MPI engine
Skoda Auto India launches the limited edition Skoda Rapid Rider in India at a jaw-dropping price of INR 6.99 Lacs. Yes, you can now take home a Skoda for a mere 7 Lacs! The new iteration of the much-celebrated Skoda sedan hits the market, determined to carry forth the ‘One Nation, One Price’ philosophy.
The new Rapid, though slim on pricing, gets the flair, dynamics, unmatched safety and superior build quality of the regular car. The Rapid Rider is available in just two colours- Candy White and Carbon Steel. The Rapid Rider can be booked at all Skoda dealerships across the country.
The basic design remains identical to the regular Rapid sedan. The grille, side foils and the B pillars, have all been treated black and there is even a black lip garnish to distinguish it visually from the regular car.
The pocket-friendly Skoda Rapid gets a 1.6L Multi-Point Injection (MPI) as its heart. It is good to let out 105 PS and 153 Nm. An efficiency of 15.41 kmpl is also guaranteed.

There are stuff like Parktronic rear parking sensors, anti-glare interior rearview mirror, rear windscreen defogger with timer, height-adjustable three-point seatbelts at the front, rough road package, and engine immobilizer with a floating code system, on offer.
