Tata Kaziranga Edition Launched From 8.58 Lakh: Punch, Nexon, Harrier, And Safari

Tata Kaziranga lineup draws its inspiration from India’s rich flora and fauna

Tata Motors has recently been having a glorious run in the SUV space here, with a wide range of products in its portfolio. The carmaker has been topping the SUV sales charts for the past 4 months in a row. Celebrating this glorious achievement, Tata has launched special editions across its SUV lineup. Dubbed ‘Kaziranga Edition’, it celebrates India’s rich flora and fauna. The Kaziranga edition is a tribute to India’s geographical and biological diversity, implied by the name it borrows from the famous national park in Assam.

Tata Kaziranga Range: What’s It All About?

The Kaziranga edition is more or less a cosmetic upgrade to the existing ‘Forever range of SUVs’, which includes the Punch, Nexon, Harrier, and Safari. The special edition vehicles get a unique exterior color scheme comprising the new Grassland Beige and Piano Black shades. On the inside, the upholstery now comes finished in an Earthy Beige shade, and the dash gets multiple touches of Tropical wood and Earthy Beige. Also present are multiple mascots of the one-horned Rhino, some serious Kaziranga signature indeed. ( Assam’s Kaziranga national park, if you might remember, is home to the magnificent one-horned Rhinoceros.). These mascots would also hint at the power and capability of these vehicles, qualities which the animal is known for.

Tata Motors had earlier announced its plans of auctioning a unit of the Punch Kaziranga edition to the IPL fans and donating the entirety of the winning bid towards the efforts on conservation of wildlife at Kaziranga. Again, some really appreciable move…

Tata Punch Kaziranga Edition: Details And Price

The Punch is the most recent addition to the homegrown giant’s SUV lineup and the Kaziranga edition adds more flair to it. The special edition Punch is available in the top-spec, Creative persona alone. However, there are four different configurations available- with and without iRA and with manual and automatic transmissions.

Tata Nexon Kaziranga Edition: Details And Price

Tata Nexon has been a hotcake in the SUV space. The Kaziranga edition gives it more style and equipment. Kaziranga edition Nexon comes in two trims- XZ+ (P) and XZA+ (P) and with both petrol and diesel powertrains. In addition to the signature exterior color scheme, the vehicle also gets Granite Black body claddings and roof rails, Piano Black humanity line, and Jet Black alloy wheels.

On the inside, the Nexon Kaziranga edition gets a refreshed color scheme and a few additional pieces of equipment. It gets dual-tone Earthy Beige leatherette upholstery, Piano Black door trims, and a magnificent Tropical Wood finish on the dashboard. The vehicle also gets ventilated front seats, an air purifier, and an electrochromic mirror alongside the existing features.

Tata Harrier Kaziranga Edition: Details And Price

The Harrier Kaziranga edition also gets the signature styling scheme of the family. It is available in two trims- XZ+ and XZA+. The key highlights include dual Earthy Beige leatherette seats and door trims, tropical wood finish on the mid-pad, granite Black body claddings, Granite Black front grille, Piano Black inserts, jet Black 17 alloy wheels, and more. It also has a few feature additions like new connected car features, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto over Wifi, and front ventilated seats.

Tata Safari Kaziranga Edition: Details And Price

The flagship Safari gets even more appealing with the Kaziranga edition. It already has an evident upper hand in terms of equipment offered, in its class. The notable features on the Safari include ventilated seats on the first and second rows, wireless charger, Apple Carplay, and Android Auto over wifi, air purifier, iRA, etc. The Kaziranga edition improves the cabin experience with the new Earthy Beige interior color scheme and Tropical wood finish for the dashboard mid-pad. Exterior design highlights include Granite Black body claddings, front grille, and roof rails, Piano Black inserts, and Jet Black alloys. The Safari Kaziranga edition is available in 4 trims.
