Fleet Edge is a dedicated connected vehicle platform

Tata Motors has announced reaching 5 lakh users for its Fleet Edge connected vehicle platform. Fleet Edge is designed to facilitate effective fleet management, increase vehicle uptime, and ensure road safety. The connected vehicle suite comes installed on all the manufacturer’s commercial EVs, medium and heavy trucks, and buses, from the manufacturer.

Tata Motors had launched Fleet Edge in July 2020. The e-SIM-based system uses inputs from various sensors to monitor vehicle health and increase uptime. It also allows for other services like geofencing, tracking, driver behavior alerts etc.
