The Dark edition is available on two variants of the Nexon EV
The Nexon EV is currently India’s most picked electric vehicle and here is more sauce to the pie! Tata Motors has launched a visually beefed-up Dark edition of the Nexon EV. With its all-Black paint scheme, the Nexon EV Dark edition stands out for sure. The Dark edition is available on two variants of the electric Nexon- XZ+ and XZ+ LUX. It is just the base-spec XM that misses the Black suit! Nexon EV Dark edition price starts from Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The standard XZ Plus bears a price tag of Rs 13.99 lakh, while the top-spec XZ+ LUX is priced at 15.99 lakh. The Dark Editions thus have price premiums of Rs 1 lakh on the XZ+ and Rs 86,000 on the XZ+ LUX variants. What do you get for the extra money?
Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition: Key Highlights
The Nexon EV gets a premium Midnight Black colorway on its exterior. The humanity line and Beltline get finished in satin Black, and the alloy wheels have Charcoal Grey paint on them. There are of course, multiple #DARK badges as well. The EV Blue rear applique now gets a dark Grey tint. Nexon EV retains its signature EV Blue touches at multiple spots. On the inside, the overall theme is evidently dark. The mid-pad now comes finished in Piano Black, seats sport dark themes, and get EV Blue stitches and Tri-arrow perforations on them. The steering wheel is also leatherette-wrapped.
The changes on the Nexon EV Dark are not just cosmetic. There are a bunch of newbies in the equipment array of the Dark edition. The car now gets an Intelligent Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (iTPMS) and new 60:40 rear seats with a decent sized central armrest and adjustable headrests (also available on the EV’s XZ+ variant).
Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition Vs Nexon Dark Edition : What’s Different?
Now don’t get confused. The Nexon EV Dark has enough visual deviations from the regular Nexon Dark edition. The exterior colorway on the ICE Nexon Dark, if you might remember, is Atlas Black. The ICE counterpart also gets its humanity and beltlines coated with Sonic Silver paint which the EV has in Satin Black. The ICE Nexon’s alloy wheels get a much darker Charcoal Black shade than the EV’s Charcoal Grey. The cabin of these cars also exhibit decent differentiation in colourways and trims used, EV Blue touches of the electric Nexon could be cited as an example.
