The 2023 Tata Nexon facelift has finally been revealed after being spied on tests for months. We’ve already seen the new design in spy shots, but this is our first official look at all those refreshed design cues. The new Nexon will be available in four different versions: Smart, Pure and Fearless, as well as Creative. Tata will announce the variant-wise prices and details on September 14. The new Nexon EV is expected to be launched on the same day as well.

What are the design changes on the Nexon facelift?
The facelifted SUV gets a sleeker front design, a new grille, fresh-looking LED DRLs, and a redesigned front bumper. It now has vertically stacked LED headlights. The only major change on the sides is the new alloy wheel design. At the rear, there are new LED taillights, LED lightbar and a refreshed tailgate. The upcoming Nexon EV could also get similar changes.
New Nexon Interior
Facelifted Tata Nexon gets a new dashboard design, refreshed interior layout, a new two-spoke steering wheel, and a better climate control panel with a ‘touch-to-control’ setup. The steering has a backlit logo at its centre. We had first seen this setup on the Curvv concept. The SUV’s cabin comes with a new look and better upholstery, which will be available in various colours depending on the exterior paint and variant.
2023 Tata Nexon Features
The new Nexon comes with a longer list of features. It gets two 10.25-inch displays- a touchscreen infotainment unit and another digital driver display. Other features and equipment on the Nexon facelift include connected car tech, ventilated seats, sunroof, 360 camera, automatic climate control, wireless charger, cruise control, Harman AudioworX and a 9-speaker premium audio from JBL.
Safety features include up to 6 airbags (standard), ESC (Electronic Stability Control), ISOFIX Child Seat Mounts, Front Parking Sensors and a reversing camera.
Powerhouses Of The New Nexon
Powering the new Tata Nexon is the familiar set of engines- 1.2 turbo petrol and 1.5 diesel. There is, however, a new DCT automatic transmission available on the new model. Below are the key powertrain details.

Tata is likely to make the Nexon more expensive than before with the facelift. The new model is likely to cost between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 14.60 lakh (Ex-Showroom Delhi). This highly popular sub-four-meter SUV will continue to battle the likes of Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger and Maruti Fronx.
