The Toyota Vellfire comes in as a self-charging Hybrid Electric vehicle
Toyota has finally launched its majestic MPV- the Toyota Vellfire in India at an exciting price. The Vellfire comes in as a Self-charging Hybrid Electric Vehicle (SHEV), more on that later.
The Toyota Vellfire 2020 gets an eye-popping design, with lots of chrome and other premium accents. The cabin too gets finished in premium materials and hosts a bunch of interesting tech and equipment. The second row gets large executive lounge seats that offer supreme comfort and butter-smooth ride. The vehicle offers class-leading space and comfort levels inside the cabin. There are also stuffs like dual moonroofs, 3 zone air conditioning, 16 colour ambient roof illumination, one-touch power slide doors etc.
On the technical front. the Vellfire gets a hybrid petrol powertrain. A 2.5 L, In-line 4 petrol engine comes mated to a dual-motor SHEV hybrid powertrain. The gasoline engine alone can let out around 117hp. The entire setup is good enough to offer supreme driving experience and an impressive fuel efficiency of 16.35 kmpl.
The Toyota Vellfire MPV comes equipped with safety tech like 7 SRS airbags, VDIM (Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management), Hill-start Assist, Vehicle Stability Control, ABS etc and sees no compromise on occupant safety. The Toyota Vellfire price in India starts at INR 79.5 Lakh.
