Triumph Motorcycles Launches Bonneville T100 And T120 Blacks In India

Triumph Bonneville T100 and T120 modern retro classics are open for bookings across the dealerships in India. This British boys sare are basically blacked-out versions of their standard offering. This latest addition to the lineup is inspired by the 1959 Triumph Bonneville. It is surprising to know that both the bikes are priced as same as their standard variants. T100 black is available at 8.87 Lakhs INR and T120 Black is available at 9.97 Lakhs INR.

The blacked-out parts on the new motorcycle include the headlight bezel, turn indicators, rearview mirrors, wheel rims, bodywork, a dual skin peashooter exhaust with matt black finish, and engine covers. T100 black is available in two color variants namely Jet Black and Matte Black and T120 is also available in two color schemes Jet Black & Matte Graphite.

Powering the T100 Black is a 900cc 8 valve, liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 55hp and 77Nm, which adheres to the new BS-6 emission norms and is coupled to a 5-speed transmission. Whereas the T120 is powered by a motor of higher displacement. Its engine is a 1,200cc, 8 valve parallel-twin engine producing 80hp and 107Nm torque and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. This engine is slightly torquier than the outgoing model.

Triumph claims that both the T100 and T120 has received suspension upgrades with longer suspension travel for better bump absorption. The black edition features a double-cradle chassis, dual-channel ABS and switchable traction control.

The 2020 Triumph Bonneville T100 Black is also equipped with Ride-by-Wire, Torque Assist Clutch, LED Rear Light, Engine Immobiliser, and USB Charging Socket. Both the T100 and T120 Black feature a twin-pod instrument cluster. On top of all these, T120 boasts of two riding modes- Rain & Road, making it irresistible for a modern retro lover. Both the motorcycles are offered with over 150 custom accessories to choose from which includes heated grips, cruise control, center stand, and much more.
