The new-gen Hyundai Verna will debut globally on March 21
Hyundai Motors recently published the design sketches of the upcoming Hyundai Verna through their official website. Now, pictures have surfaced on the internet, where the car can be seen completely undisguised in South Korea. These are the first real-life images of the production-ready version of the highly anticipated sedan. It would continue to sell as the Hyundai Accent in Korea. Hyundai has already started taking orders for Verna 2023, which is due for a global launch on March 21. Customers can book the sedan from the official website or authorised dealerships for a token amount of Rs. 25,000.

The new images reveal the complete design philosophy of the new Verna. Hyundai’s Sensuous Sportiness design language is used in the car, also seen on multiple global models like the new Elantra and Tucson. The sedan has become more appealing through the prominent character lines across the exterior. The bulky body of the old Verna has been replaced by this modern-looking, sleek design. The character lines blend in with the wheel arches and have a resemblance to the Tucson. Other Tucson touches in this Verna are the grille design and the chrome garnish around the window line.
In the front, the Verna comes with a split headlamp setup along with a full-width LED light bar. The grille spans almost the total width of the car and is heavily detailed. The fog lamps are housed in the vertically positioned extensions at both ends of the bumper. They’ve given the car a prominent Hyundai logo on the bonnet, similar to the i10 Nios facelift.
A full-width light bar is the main highlight of the completely redesigned rear end. Vertical extension and crystal-like details are also to be seen. The reversing lamps are designed into three horizontal light bars at both ends.
